Narrated Muawiya: The Messenger of (ﷺ) Allah said: If Allah wants to do good for somebody, he makes him comprehend the Religion (i.e. Islam), and Allah is the Giver and I am Al-Qasim (i.e. the Distributor), and this (Muslim) nation will remain victorious over their opponents, till Allah's Order comes and they will still be victorious. Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who follows a path in quest of knowledge, Allah will make the path of Jannah easy to him. The angels lower their wings over the seeker of knowledge, being pleased with what he does. The inhabitants of the heavens and the earth and even the fish in the depth of the oceans seek forgiveness for him. The superiority of the learned man over the devout worshipper is like that of the full moon to the rest of the stars (i.e., in brightness). The learned are the heirs of the Prophets who bequeath neither dinar nor dirham but only that of knowledge; and he who acquires it, has in fact acquired an abundant portion. Riyadh As Saliheen, Abu Dawud and At Tirmidhi Book 13, Hadith 1388 MULTIPLE VIRTUES FROM THE ABOVE HADITH: (سهل اهلل له طريقا إلى الجنة) Allah will Make the Path to Paradise Easy وإن املالئكة) Pleased. Our story, Bismillaah In 2002, Allah brought together two ordinary friends who bonded, and studied together - one of them teaching the other. Soon, the circle grew into a small group of beginners who longed to know their roots and purpose in life. And then the journey continued as Allah grew us in number, as we sailed from one location to another like travelers in this adventurous journey of learning. Some days were bright and sunny, Some days we had peaceful rain, and at times, there was thunder and storm. By Allah s aid and protection, we sailed through, as Allah opened channels of new classes, new students, and new opportunities. On June, 2018, by the infinite favors of Allah, we got established independently as Al Salam Islamic center under the authorization of IACAD (Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities). The vision was clear, the goals and values were defined and a new blooming tree emerged. الحمد هلل رب العامني All praises, and thanks to Allah. The story does not end here In fact, the story is all about you. From the roots to bloom, we invite each student to become a blooming tree in their own homes and communities - each one spreading a beautiful example and working towards one ultimate vision. We ask Allah for His guidance, and the way to His Pleasure and Firdaus al ala.
